Chocolate Swirl Coffee Cake

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Grease square pan, 8x8x2 inches.
  3. Stir together coconut, nuts, ¼ cup sugar and 1 tablespoon of the melted butter; set aside.
  4. Mix baking mix, ¼ cup sugar, remaining melted butter, the egg and milk.
  5. Beat vigorously ½ minute.
  6. Pour into pan.
  7. Spoon chocolate over batter; with knife, cut through batter several times for a marbled effect.
  8. Sprinkle coconut mixture evenly over top.
  9. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
  10. Serve warm.
